Who are we...?
Jonathan, 30 summers young, Swedish and the owner of the farm. Handyman, electrician, prepper, farmer, hang-drummer, builder. Mira's brother.
Mira, 34 springs wise, Swedish, owner of the farm and Max' Woman. Green fingers, Animal whisperer, Farmer, Artist and a sprinkle of witch. Jonathan's sister.
Max, 38 winters old, Danish and Mira's Man. Poet, Chef, Baker, Crypto enthusiast, Artist, Taoist and Mystic.
Nord, a 6 months old fusion of 50% Mira and 50% Max, and one happy little camper.
We have 30+ chickens, 4 cats and the cutest dog in the world.
The farm is about 5 years old and there are oh so many projects that we are playing with – Yes! We are playing. But a self sustaining little paradise is the over arching idea.
On the personal and spiritual level, the projects and our living together is aimed for and toward peace of mind, body and spirit.
So in the everyday life, the focus is on being present with what we do. If it's a task that needs doing or eating breakfast. Doesn't matter what it is. Be. Here. Now.
This also means that when a brother or sister(We love the rainbow family) forgets things, (closing the door, cleaning up after oneself and so on) we remind each other to help the mind be more present. This is because we believe an environment that is orderly is more harmonious.
Our wish for all living beings in this place is to nourish the harmony within themselves and the community. Though we are only 3 right now, we anticipate it turning into more of a community over time. The property is about 20 hectares, so the space is certainty here.
We are very loose with the schedule in general. We strive towards letting things unfold organically, and wanting to do, learn, experience be the motivation.
What is this place and what is it not:
We are most certainly a bunch of hippies, but not the lazy, lay around in the sun all day, ladidida kind. We think of the work on the farm as meditation. And we use it as a spiritual undertaking – Sahdana – to quite the mind and open the heart. We see this place as an entity that we pray to through work and the work as a pathway to the brighter and sustainable world that our hearts tells us is possible.
Expectations:
As we do not keep a fixed schedule, it is up to you to manage your time. Sleep when you want to sleep, eat when you want to eat and work when you want to work. And it is up to you to seek us out when you are ready for your next task. We will not micro manage you, keep track of your working hours, tell you when to take a day off etc. You will be given freedom, but that freedom comes with responsibility. This can be quite a contrast to regular society, where we are mostly taught to follow orders and to do as we are told.
Social activities:
The work on the farm is naturally the main nexus point for our interactions, but we also strive to eat by the fire in our little camping spot as much as the weather allows. Then we tend to go for a swim in one of the local lakes during summer and the sun is out. We always celebrate the traditional Swedish Midsummer aka solstice.
A short and in no way exhaustive list of this years projects:
• Organize and beautify the garden/grown area
• Growing lots of beautiful vegies
• Make compost
• Finishing the second house
• Expand herb and spice production
• General renovations of structures
And generally making the farm even more self sustainable.
Toys and fun: Guitars, hang drum, didgeridoo, bow and arrow, slack-line, bush craft gear, bikes, well equipped workshop, arts and crafts stuff, yoga mats, outdoor fire place, ever growing library, forest 10 walk away.
We can accommodate any diet. We dumpster dive a good portion of our food. But also have quite a lot of previous years harvest in the freezer and pickled. And of course what is in season in the garden.
We do prefer longer stays, as getting to know each other deepens. And it does quite naturally take a bit of time getting into the swing of things. If you only wish to visit us for a short time, be prepared for weeding and other simple tasks.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We all learn and experience from each other <3
We are striving to live in harmony with the land, and getting 100% of the grid. As self sufficient as possible and slowly moving towards a more "retro" lifestyle, where we do as much as we can by hand and simple tools. So if you wish to learn what this process entails, this is the place for you.
We also have a spiritual side, so there is room for deep metaphysical conversations, yoga, meditation and so on. So there is an element of a spiritual retreat to coming here, if that is what you seek.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

A house with modern comforts. If we are many people at the same time some will share a room with others.
What else ...
It's on the country side, 10 minute drive(7km) to closest town (Falköping), so it's helpful if you have a car, though there are some cars here that can be used and also a bus that can take u somewhere. And we have a few bike.
