Description
Hey there, Workaway Travelers!
I'm Despina, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to my cozy countryside cottage located in the mountains of Kalo Chorio, Limassol, Cyprus. Dating all the way back to 1920, my home offers a charming room with a private bathroom, surrounded by tranquility, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views. Explore the village's walking paths or venture into the mountains, thanks to the nearby walking trails. You can expect plenty of warm hospitality and a delicious village breakfast as part of your stay.

Help
Help around the house is always appreciated, whether it's lending a hand in the garden, tackling DIY projects, or expressing your creativity with artistic projects like graffiti or painting. Your contributions help make this space even more special, and I'm grateful for any assistance you're able to offer during your stay

The accommodation features a cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed, your own private bathroom, a mini fridge, and a kettle. Guests also have access to the shared kitchen. The room is located on the ground floor, while my living space is upstairs, ensuring your privacy during your stay
What else ...
When you're not busy, Workaway travelers can check out nearby villages and the city, or take relaxed walks along the village paths. Relax in the hammock with a book from the house library. If you want to visit Limassol, a 30-minute bus ride will take you there, or I can offer a ride on my way to work.
A little more information
Internet access
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
Can host digital nomads
The internet connection is decent but not super-fast, with speeds of around 20Mbps for downloads and 1Mbps for uploads. Occasionally, there may be brief power outages in the village, but they're rare and usually quickly resolved. If I'm home during one of these instances, I can set up a hotspot for you to stay connected.
Space for parking camper vans
At the back of the house, there's a steep hill road that leads to the highest point of the village. It's flat at the top, providing plenty of space for parking your campervan and accessing the house facilities. From this elevated position, you'll be treated to breathtaking 360-degree views of the village and surrounding mountains. Since I primarily use the back road, you can expect complete privacy during your stay
Can possibly accept pets
