After 8 years of being (mostly) behind a computer screen, which did not give me much satisfaction, I decided it was high time to get to know myself by meeting other people! I just quit my job to travel for 1 or 2 years to learn new things, be able to help a community, meet new people and improve my Dutch and English. :-)

I achieved my bachelor's degree in marketing 10 years ago with my first work placement as a volunteer in a youth hostel in England. During this internship, I joined the team and took part in the day-to-day tasks of maintenance and customer service.
Then I worked for a company for 2 years, for which, among other things, I realised a series of communication tools (new logo, website using a CMS, sales brochure, etc.) and made contact with prospective customers that I had previously researched.
Over the last 8 years, I have been working for another company as a sales and marketing employee and then as manager of a network of sales outlets. This role changed a lot over the years, but to sum up, I was the person who managed the administrative, sales and marketing relationships of these distributors.
Today, unfortunately, I no longer find meaning and fulfilment in this job, where I'm mostly behind a computer, so I decided a short while ago to tender my resignation and set off to 'meet' myself through new life experiences!

I am very social and I love meeting new people and talking to them. I like to help others with their tasks, projects. My friends describe me as responsible and brave. Furthermore, I am a fairly calm and discreet person in everyday life. I love to spend time with others, laugh and play, but I also have to charge my batteries by reading, listening to music and walking in nature.
