    🌿 Welcome at Gléré! 🌿

I'm Maryse, the heart behind this tranquil haven nestled in the Brittany countryside near Redon. After 35 years of sailing the world's waters, my home at Moulin de Gléré has become a sanctuary where I embrace the beauty of nature and the simplicity of rural life. Despite being alone in the house, it's always buzzing with the vibrant energy of sailors and travelers I've met along my journeys. Located near the picturesque canal from Nantes to Brest, our retreat offers access to countless hikes and scenic bike rides. Here, amidst the serene beauty of nature, my traditional eco garden reflects my commitment to preserving the environment. I'm seeking a fellow nature lover to join me, to share in the joys of tending to our garden, maintaining our cozy abode, and embracing the serenity of rural life. If you're someone who finds solace in nature, delights in gardening, and values sustainability, I invite you to become part of our rural family at Gléré.

    Help

At Gléré, I'm seeking assistance with various tasks to maintain our rustic home and traditional eco garden. Here's a detailed overview of the help I need:

-Gardening: Assistance with tending to our traditional eco garden is essential. Tasks include planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs. While prior knowledge of permaculture is not necessary, I'll provide guidance, and any exchange of gardening knowledge is always welcome.

-General Maintenance: Help with general maintenance tasks around the house and property is appreciated. This includes minor repairs, painting, cleaning, and upkeep of outdoor furniture. Additionally, assistance with woodcutting for heating purposes will be needed.

-Project Assistance: We have ongoing projects, including renovating old structures and implementing eco-friendly initiatives. Your assistance in completing these projects, such as the phytodepuration project for water treatment using plants, would be greatly appreciated.

-Language Exchange: As someone who has traveled extensively and met people from various backgrounds, I enjoy cultural exchange and language learning. If you're fluent in languages other than French and English, I'd love to learn from you while we work together.

-Companionship: While I appreciate the tranquility of rural life, I also enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. If you're someone who enjoys sharing stories, cooking together, or simply spending time in nature, your companionship would be valued as much as your help with tasks.
