I had a nice time in Kobarid and Livek house, it is a beautiful area, easy to explore around by car. Marie is friendly and make everyone feel welcome, she provided all meals, took us for a trip nearby and we had drinks. I totally recommend and hope to visit another time. Thank you for everything.

I could only stay for a short time, but the time and work with Mustafa was a very nice experience and it was a lot of fun! Firstly, we stayed in the flat in Kaman and spent time with the family. Ayşe is super funny and very communicative. When the weather improved, we travelled to the farm. The work was very varied and not too difficult. In the evenings we cooked together, ate outside and had good conversations! It was a lovely time! Çok teşekkürler Mustafa! I hope I can come back again!

Johanna is currently here and I am thrilled to have her helping me. She is incredible independent and proactive. She is hardworking, funny, friendly, very nice. We work in the garden sometimes together, she waters all the plants and trees, takes care of the donkeys, chickens and the goat Daisy. We work very well together. She has always good ideas and takes some great initiatives, which is very relaxing for me. I can leave her do the essential oils and she helps cleaning my house also. She makes us sometimes excellent dishes. She is 23 and it is nice to see that at a young age she is so mature and efficient. I will miss her a bunch when she leaves and miss her laugh and positive energy. If you consider taking a workaway, don't hesitate and write her!

Hello, I come to say that I spent 2 months in the house of this wonderful and welcoming family and it was one of the best decisions I could make!! It was my first time leaving Spain traveling alone and even if I was quite scared about how I would get out, it wasn't a negative thing at all. It has helped me a lot to know myself better as a person, to know what I want, what I don't want, to mature and to take on a dynamic of tasks and responsibilities that I didn't know I could obtain in such a short time. The family is simply very welcoming and friendly, always willing to take you to make lots of plans with them and to learn about their culture and so on, on Fridays they usually cook pizza themselves with the children and watch movies, which is very good because I love the pizza and without a doubt I will miss those delicious pizzas that Johanna cooked!! On the other hand, Tampere is one of the most beautiful and well-located cities that I have had the luxury of visiting. Lots of museums, breweries, festivals, restaurants and very beautiful and unique monuments, and as a city it is very close to the house (about 30 minutes by bus, which can be easily accessed from home, 1 minute walk). I met a lot of people right away who made my stay much more exciting than it already was, all very friendly and I really felt very well accepted like few others I have felt. On the other hand, the work part, to be honest, was difficult for me because I had never worked in the garden or on a construction site, even so they were always willing to help me and give me advice to improve and it did not seem difficult at all, which is why I invite anyone to go because I recommend it to change your environment and find yourself. Without a doubt, a decision that I will never regret and that has made me who I am and who I will be tomorrow. Thank you very much Johanna, Tony, Kukka, Otto, Mimmi, Mauno... for opening the doors of your house to me even though I was a stranger and having such different cultures because I liked it very much and I would do it again another time! They certainly deserve 5 stars in every way, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Margaux has been staying with me for 2 weeks, despite the hot weather, but she stayed true to the time she promised and didn't complain at all about the weather. She's cheerful and proactive in her work. Especially enthusiastic and proactive in the English class. I am grateful that she came and joined me. I will always remember that little girl and the memories we shared together with the volunteer family at that time.

I had the pleasure to stay with Mari-san and his family for two weeks and it was a great experience! The most interesting thing was that the house is full of people, some living there for long time and others just few days guests, so you have many chances to communicate, share stories and make new friends! If you want to improve language skills this is a perfect place. Mari-san is super funny and sociable, we laughed a lot together! Also her communication was great and she explained very precisely what to do every day. And she was so kind to involve me in several activities besides routine tasks so I really had a great great time with her! Unfortunately I spend little time with Issui-kun but he's a lovely kid and his smiling and laughing is contagious!

Cindy, my wonderful friend. Do you know? We have the same birthday, born in the same year, perhaps that's why we click so well. Cindy brings me warmth and affection like a family member. She always cares about me. She's always ready to help me with everything and understands me. It's been so long since I've met a friend like her. Thank you, Cindy, for coming, for helping me so much, and for making me feel warm. I wish her many more wonderful volunteer experiences on her journey. I'm so happy she came to my little farm.

Alessandro is a top-notch, thoughtful, kind and skilled person, the perfect kind of workawayer who is capable of doing all sorts of projects both indoors and outdoors. He was always cheerful and got along with everyone. Whether it be cooking , building, wiring, or repairing, this guy can do it all, and do it well. He is able to help independently and manage his own schedule to get the projects done, while creating a good balance of work and leisure for himself. Alessandro and his girlfriend, Mariya, stayed with us for 5 weeks and both were a great help. She was pregnant and a bit hormonal at the tiime, and not always feeling well, but that is to be expected. Incidentally, she is a fantastic cook! Definitely one of the best we've ever had as a workawayer. She has the talent of being able to see what ingredients are available and create a delicioius, healthy, vegetarian meal out of it. To those hosts who are looking for a reliable couple, we can highly recommend Alessandro and Mariya. We wish them both well as they embark on their new journey of parenthood. (They now have a beautiful baby girl!)

I'm delighted to host Josh and Rebeca. They are friendly and hardworking individuals. They are willing to help me with everything from teaching English to gardening and household chores. They are lovely and understanding, and they get along well with other volunteers. I feel very comfortable delegating tasks to them; they work efficiently and independently. I am grateful for their presence; they are the best volunteers I've ever had.

I absolutely loved my experience here. Ashley and Oskar are the most welcoming and down to earth couple who also work to manage several businesses (hence very organized and holistically talented). The main one being a cute little cafe which serves authentic Mexican cuisine, and hosts events during the weekend. They really try and cater to the strengths and likes of the kind of tasks volunteers feel at ease with, and are willing to teach you new skills related to the work with compassion and zero judgement. The food is DELICIOUS! served twice a day, cooked in house by Oskar's lovely family. The town itself - San Miguel de Allende is just a dream to live in! You'll be staying 10 mins bus ride away from the center which is just a gorgeous area with cobbled streets and colonial architecture, and plenty of cute boutiques and galleries. The glamping experience is great - this was my first time living in a tent and the tent itself is very spacious and offers a comfy vibe. All in all, I had a great experience doing a variety of tasks from making workshops for kids, graphic design, social media, waitressing, cleaning, and even performing for an event! I'll definitely be back❤️

I had a wonderful time volunteering at the school. It is a really special place and it was really nice to get to know everyone. The evening activities planned enhanced the overall experience and allowed us to learn more about Taiwan through the different families we spent time with. Would highly recommend the experience!

I stayed with Louise, Abby and Blaine for a little more than four months. It was my first workaway experience and I enjoyed it so much. Even thought I was nervous about meeting everyone in the beginning, I always felt comfortable and welcome. Louise is so patient and she made it so easy for me to fit in, not only with her family, but also with the animals and the daily routine. Also she knows a lot about first aid, everytime I got a nosebleed or accidentally cut myself or simply fell down she knew what to do and took care of me. She is an amazing cook too, I think everything I tried was just delicious. There was so much to eat that I never tried before, everything was just so good. Also Abby's desserts were the best. I was able to learn so much about healthy desserts from her. She taught me so much about how I should move my body without accidentally hurting myself due to my hypermobility. They are all so understanding and the conversations we had were really special. I'm so thankful that I got the chance to join the pilates class, and meet a lot of new people, that I stayed friends with. I think because I already had experiences from living with animals the work was manageable for me, but it is surely manageable for people with less experience too. It was so nice meeting all the different animals, getting to know them and their different personalitys. I think, after a few weeks I got so much more confident in helping with the animals. It's so rewarding to see the progress I've made with them, and being trusted to go out and feed them/ care for them on my own. In my free time I usually went on a walk and explored the city. There are a few great bakerys and places where you can get a snack or a second breakfast. It's lovely to walk around Confolens and watch the river or the nature. Also one of the best places is St. Catherines, its so peaceful to watch the town. I consider this place my home now, and the worst part was leaving. I wholeheartedly want to say thank you to Louise, Abby and Blaine for this wonderful time. I loved being with you and I am looking forward to see you again. To all the workawayers who want to work with lovely animals and lovely people I just want to recommend visiting Louise and Abby in Confolens and to stay there for more than the minimum three weeks.

I have spent the last two weeks at the studio and I am really impressed with this place. Panchagni is a chill place where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and breathtaking views every day. Despite the heat, I really enjoyed this place and hope to come back when it's a little colder 😅 to be able to explore more. The studio is amazing, they created space with a great energy, it was really hard to go home sometimes. The atmosphere is very relaxed so you can quickly feel at ease here. Neha, Rudransh and the whole team are very caring, helpful, creative, open and positive people. It's a small creative family living on the hill that actively spends time together. Dinners, watching a TV series, sunsets on the table land, paintball, night trekking, kayaking and many more. They also make crazy costumes for their cosplay day, check it out on instagram! Hope to join any of the activities someday 😊 Of course, I have to mention the delicious food and Didi, who is cooking in the studio. Really kind and positive person with whom, despite the language barrier, I got along great. On the last day she even dressed me in her traditional Marathi attire. Whole studio staff is great! During my stay I worked on case studies social media posts and animations. I also got sick and sometimes was unable to come to the studio or had to go to the doctor. I felt bad about it because I came to workaway after all, but everyone turned out to be a huge support, they were checking on me and Neha was always ready to go to the doctor with me. I am very thankful for that and for their understanding. Thank you! 💜 So yeah, just come here! 😉

This was my first workaway and I totally loved the whole experience! The place is set in nature and is very peaceful, perfect for spiritual seekers and someone who wants to escape the city life. Every morning you wake up to the most beautiful sunrise, and the group morning yoga is perfect way to start your day.The whole staff was very helpful and hospitable. The host Shantanu was very nice and open to new ideas to improve the property. I was handling their social media and appreciated the creative freedom they gave me, wish I could stay there for more time. I would definitely recommend this place to other travellers, I had an amazing time with the guests and other volunteers as well. Would also recommend Sunset trek to everyone who stays here, it's magical!

I had the most wonderful experience at the Camp ! The staff is very kind and helpful, Kas is a beautiful place with nature and beach. I could relax in a cool camp with a lots of animals. Thanks for everything, I will definitly come back one day :)

I stayed for 2 weeks at this amazing campsite in Cherating. I felt directly really welcoming here. The beach is beautifull, nice to take a lot of swims and the river is nice as well. Especially the fact that you can see the sunrise at the beach and the sunset at the river, I loved it! Willie is a friendly and nice guy and always made sure that I could explore nice places around cherating as well, try different local foods, and in the meantime we can get to know each other better and share our cultures. The job is also nice if you like to work outside and do physical jobs. There was enough time off for myself as well. The food was good provoded as well. I'm really happy that I went here and I left with a lot of good memories! Thank you so much!

Absolutely fantastic! I'm a bit tardy in leaving this review (over 6 months late), but it truly was one of my favorite workdays. Chiara and Frappuccino (that's what I called him) are incredibly flexible and easy to communicate with. The atmosphere, tasks, and overall experience were excellent and highly recommended. We exchanged cultural experiences and shared many laughs. Our dinner times were filled with more laughter than food! We absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this place for a memorable experience.

Fue lindo haberte conocido y pasado buenos momentos junto a todos los demás voluntarios, realmente espero puedas volver algún día y quedarte en la hacienda por más tiempo. Buena suerte hasta entonces!
