Giulia was a brilliant workaway to host: hardworking, honest, respectful and practical who fitted into my home effortlessly. Giulia completed all the tasks we had agreed with care and attention. She is a great planner and organiser and I benefitted very much from these skills during her stay with me. I would have Giulia return anytime. I had an excellent experience hosting her and I missed her very much when she left. She is welcome back any time.

I had the best time at Brida's place!
The work she needed to be done at her place was quite simple, and it mainly concerned tidying up, cleaning and reorganizing, and cooking. Her house is in the heart of Irish nature, with many different touristic attractions nearby. Brida often took the time to bring me around with her car to show me around

She was very open to the food I cooked, and me being vegetarian was not a problem at all for her! Both Brida and her son were very fun and interesting to talk to, I am very happy we had the chance to spend these 10 days together, I truly enjoyed my stay and I hope she was happy with having me and the work I have done! All the best to both of you!

Matilde was a pleasure to host in every way: eager to do and finish work agreed with care and attention, great houseguest who fitted in easily to my home and circumstances. She did all the cooking and daily chores in addition to the work we had agreed, which was a huge burden lifted off me. I can recommend highly her skills in the kitchen too. I miss all the beautiful Italian meals she whizzed up effortlessly. Matilde is honest, reliable and hard-working and she has initiative. I missed her when she left and I can only but highly recommend Matilde to any host. She is welcome to return to my home any time. The pleasure of hosting her was all mine.

I stayed at Breda's beautiful cottage for about 10 days with her two lovely pets and I couldn't have made a better decision! She was a wonderful host: she made me work for a reasonable amount of time, without rushing me and giving me anything I needed for cleaning and so on. She had no problem with my vegetarian diet, she brought me multiple times
… read more to the grocery with her so that we could choose the food together. The accomodation was a room with my own private bathroom so I had enough space for myself. The house is extremely welcoming, just like Breda, she was so helpful bringing me around with her car, telling me stories about Ireland and her life, she showed me around the county Clare which I deeply loved. Everyday she helped me planning the free time and she always did her best to make me see as much as possible. I truly had a wonderful experience which I won't forget easily, it was lovely to share the meals together and chat about annything, I've learned a lot and genuely had a good time, her sense of humour!
I am very grateful that I managed to come here for my workaway because I think it couldn't have been any better than this, I brought home so many beautiful memories.
If that wasn't clear enough: I definetly reccommend any of you to come here and meet this amazing woman and discover the most beautiful parts of Ireland!
Thank you Breda xx

Dani and Felite spent two weeks at my home tidying, organising, upcycling and making numerous repairs in the house. They also worked in the garden. Everything they embarked upon they did with care and flair. They are talented craftspeople, true artists and thorough in all they do. Their creativity is awe inspiring. I was delighted to host Dani &

As well as being conscientious workers who see clearly what needs to be done and excellently prioritise tasks, Dani & Felite are polite and caring, easy and interesting company and fit into your home in a gentle way as if they were always there. I enjoyed their stories, their knowledge sharing and their attitude to life. I would have Dani and Felite to return in a heart beat. They leave behind many, many little transformations, fantastic work and precious memories.
“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” — Anais Nin
The very soon feeling of being invited to enter in Breda's world respecting the spaces and the persons in it or around, and at the same time being highly respected has given a precious atmosphere along the days spent together.
We also were free to organize ourselves in work and leisure.
We essentially have tried to re-organize some rooms and all

We also have worked in the garden cutting some branches and storing them at the side of the house, and cutting the grass that had grown quite high.
Breda showed us many beautiful places along the whole coast of Clare. As she often went to libraries for her writing workshops, we have had the opportunity to visit some villages we probably would not have known in an ordinary trip.
Robert, Breda's son, has been with us in some moments during the week-ends as he lives in Galway all week for work.
Time with him has been short but a little spark of friendship has come up.
Corofin is 3 km. far from Breda's house. There are many nice walks to do around, and Arthur-dog is happy to join.
From Corofin there is a free bus to reach the National park of Burren, which is worth to visit and to breath the age and
stories of its so many stones.
All this and even more has been a very nice and interesting experience for both of us.
We are happy to have had the chance to live a fortnight at Breda's house.Help with DIY, gardening , IT skills at my home in Kilkenny, Ireland
