Our house is only at 35 minutes away from Old Quebec. We are going there really often and can drop you there when you want! Also, Baie-Saint-Paul is at 40 minutes away and is a beautiful place with a nice beach.
There's really nice hikes spots and national parks around us. Lots of good opportunities to be in nature.

Nous pouvons t'aider à apprendre ou a pratiquer le français.
Nous vivons à seulement 35 minutes du Vieux-Québec. Nous nous rendons souvent à Québec, il est facile pour nous de t'y déposer. Baie-Saint-Paul est également une sublime ville avec une plage et beaucoup d'histoire.
Plusieurs sentiers pédestres et parc nationaux sont proches de la maison.
Help
iWe are a very friendly, open-minded and respectful couple (Dérick and Élise). We would like to offer our guest room (or backyard) for a cultural exchange and also to help us with the house and our SUPER friendly and energetic dog Gus. We live in a house in the country side of Saint-Joachim (halfway between Quebec City and Baie-Saint-Paul) 2 beautiful places where we go regularly. We would like to practice our English since we don't have the chance to practice it regularly. We would also love to learn Spanish and we will gladly teach you or help you practice French (Quebecois ;-) ). And the most pleasant part, we would like to have help to take care of our dog Gus. He is friendly and very, very affectionate. He has a lot of energy and he never walks enough. We have paths in the woods right at the back where you can go for walks with him. We have access to a river.
So we would like to have someone to :
- Walk Gus for a minimum of 45 minutes per day (5 days a week)
- Exchange about our cultures :-) . Learn Spanish and practice English / In exchange we will gladly teach you French.
- Help us with the garden and the maintenance of the yard
- Help us with the house cleaning, maintenance and renovations
We are simple people who like to discuss culture and art, philosophy, fermentation and cooking, travel and much more.

Nous sommes un couple (Dérick et Élise) très sympathique, ouvert d'esprit et respectueux. Nous aimerions offrir notre chambre d'invité (ou notre cours arrière) afin de faire une échange culturelle et aussi, pour nous aider avec la maison et notre SUPER sympathique chien Gus. Nous habitons une maison à la campagne à Saint-Joachim (mi-chemin entre la Ville de Québec et Baie-Saint-Paul) 2 magnifiques endroits où nous nous rendons régulièrement. Nous aimerions pratiquer notre anglais puisque nous n'avons pas la chance de le pratiquer régulièrement. Nous aimerions aussi beaucoup apprendre l'espagnol et nous allons t'apprendre ou t'aider à pratiquer le français (Québécois ;-) ) avec plaisir. Et la partie la plus plaisante, nous aimerions avoir de l'aide pour prendre soin de notre chien Gus. Il est sympathique et très-très-très affectueux. Il a beaucoup d'énergie et nous manquons un peu de temps pour aller le promener. Nous avons des sentiers dans le bois directement à l'arrière où vous pourrez aller prendre des marches avec lui. Nous avons accès à une rivière.

Accommodation
You'll have a private room in our house. We'll share common areas such as the kitchen, living room and bathroom. If you like camping, you can put your tent (or our tent) in our backyard. People living on a van are also welcome.

Si vous aimez dormir en tente, nous avons le terrain parfait pour vous tenter. Nous avons également une tente que nous pouvons vous prêter. Les gens en van sont également les bienvenus.
What else ...
We'll ask your help 5 days a week but the hours will varie depending on our needs. When Gus has walk, helping to keep the house clean, you took care of the garden or the house (when needed) and the renovations, you'll be free to enjoy the nature around us, relax in the garden, swim in the river, doing mountain bike or go to Quebec or Baie-Saint-Paul (if we are free to give you a ride, if you dont have a car)

Nous demande une aide de 5 jours par semaine mais les heures seront très variables selon les besoins. Une fois que tu auras promener Gus et pris soins de la maison et du jardin (s'il y a des besoins à ce moment), tu seras libre de profiter de la nature autour de nous en allant faire une randonnées, nager dans la rivière, lire un livre dans le jardin, essayer le vélo de montagne, etc. Tu pourras aussi aller à Québec ou Baie-Saint-Paul (si nous sommes libre pour t'y apporter, ou si tu as un véhicule)
