Hey! We are Lia and Laura from Germany. Just having finished our bachelor's degree in Psychology, we are now eager to explore Peru and Costa Rica.

In general we love traveling and learning about different cultures and we feel like being a Workaway is one of the best ways to really get to know the peruvian culture and the local people!
We are both people who enjoy the outdoors and outdoor activities like hiking and sports. We also love cooking and baking. For us, cooking together and exchanging recipes, is a great way to get to know other cultures.

In general, we are both very open minded and easy going people and adapt well to different situations and people.

Laura studied a semester abroad in Barcelona last year and fell even more in love with the Spanish language. So she feels like this would be the perfect opportunity to further improve her Spanish.

Laura has worked as a waitress and bartender for 6 years. She loved working as a waitress because she got to meet different people everyday and it never got boring.
Also, Laura worked as a tennis instructor for children. This was a unique experience as she could watch the children making improvements each week.
Through a previous workaway experience Laura was able to learn more about gardening, maintenance and house cleaning.
However, I am very enthusiastic and open about learning new skills.

Lia has been an au pair for one year in Finland after finishing high school. She has been working for over two years in the child psychology department of our university. Thus, she is already experienced in taking care of children from all age groups, and has also worked with babies and toddlers.

We're always eager to expand our knowledge and capabilities and and are always open for learning new skills.

We are curious to learn more about different cultures and other peoples way of lives. We truly believe that broadening your horizont and getting to know different perspectives on life is one of the best things you can do, in order to not only grow as person, but also in order to be a better, more understanding fellow human being.
