Hey there! We are two best friends from Greece, ready to take on the world! 🌍
Well, at least Latin America for now.

We are Marina and Christina and here are a few things about us:
-Marina likes reading, hiking, and exploring the ocean with her goggles.
-Christina likes drawing, digital marketing and content creation, eating and catching sun.
Some of the things that we both love are traveling, meeting people from different cultural backgrounds, engaging in deep conversations, playing volleyball, drinking beer (we wouldn't say no to a gin tonic though), playing board / card games and listening to music / dancing.

We are planning to kick off our trip in the beginning of May from Costa Rica, where we would like to stay for a couple of months, and then…. well, we're still figuring that out!

We are mainly intrested in hostels, hotels or surf camps but we are definitely open to explore other cool options as well.

The tasks that we can help with include general maintenance, handy jobs, reception / administrative, organising activities, gardening , painting and digital marketing (Christina's gig), languages, and more, but we are generally very flexible and eager to help wherever we can.

Unfortunately, our skills do not include cooking, but we can make a mean tzatziki.

Update: We started our Workaway experience with some blogging in Matapalo, Costa Rica and after almost a month we continued to another Workaway in Dominical, Costa Rica helping a hotel with different tasks and trying our best to at least catch a wave! 🏄
We are looking forward to find our new home and continue our journey! 🦥

On my way to a Master's degree in Human Nutrition
1 and a half year of experience on investigation of genetic improvement of legumes specially on resistance to drought in Cordoba (Spain)
Yoga enthusiast the last couple of months and reading as a hobby
Fluent in Greek and English, Spanish, basic knowledge of Italian

🦹‍♀️Christina's background and skills:

Bachelor's in Business Administration
Almost 3 years working for Facebook ads in Lisbon (Portugal)
Volunteering experience with AIESEC for a social development NGO in Sri Lanka
Drawing / sketching portraits as a hobby for now
Fluent in Greek and English, intermediate in Spanish, basic knowledge of Portuguese
