I’ll be spending January and February away from the grey of the UK, visiting the paradise of Hawaii. I’m hoping to get to know the islands by being as useful and friendly as I can, living and working for and alongside locals. My young adult kids have both flown across the world on their own travels so it’s time to have an adventure myself. I love to laugh, enjoy adventures and am a very sociable introvert.
I'm hoping to find work in exchange for accommodation - I’m happiest working with my hands; gardening, propagating, landscaping, decorating, basic building/DIY, whatever you might need, I might have done. Yet I’m useful for anything financial, business admin, bookkeeping, organisation, paperwork, etc. I’m university educated with a healthy amount of common sense and a very self-aware/chilled nature.

For many years I worked at a high level in Financial Services yet the pandemic offered me a wonderful change of direction. I now work as a self employed painter and decorator, being productive, creative and finding a real sense of achievement. I also trained for a year as a medicinal horticulturalist just before having my first child in 2003, so I know a fair amount about plants, propagation, pruning, weeding, etc.
I'm hoping to find work in exchange for accommodation - I’m happiest working with my hands; gardening, propagating, landscaping, decorating, basic building/DIY, whatever you might need, I might have done. Yet I’m useful for anything financial, business admin, bookkeeping, organisation, paperwork, etc. I’m university educated with a healthy amount of common sense and a very self-aware/chilled nature. I'm perfectly fit, healthy and strong.
I run 2 Airbnb properties in the UK. I drive a car, motorcycle and even have a tractor license. I prefer healthy, fresh, unprocessed food but I’m not picky and will join with the majority. Very happy to be meat eater, vegan, vegetarian or organic if required to.

I’m founding a business which will launch later in 2024. I’d like to combine spending some time and energy on this start up, so up to 20 hours of your work per week would be ideal. I’d also like to take time to explore the surroundings, learn the culture, swim, yoga, practice my Reiki.
I'm an enthusiastic card player, quizzer and board gamer.
