  Description

  We are the owners of a beautiful secluded renovated farm that offers you plenty of peace, fresh air, water from our own spring, organically grown home-grown vegetables and fruits. At the request of my sons, we almost have a small ZOO of domestic animals. We have rabbits (who run around freely), goats, chickens, ducks, cats and a dog.
  
  In the future, we want to arrange and rejuvenate the orchard, where our animals will live freely. Our desire is to restore one larger and one smaller facility that would offer accommodation for smaller groups of people or children.
  Our ultimate vision for this place is to create a harmonious and self-sustainable farm where we can host various events such as spiritual and gardening workshops, fasting retreats, retreats for teachers and parents, art camps, camps for kids and teens etc..
  
  We often organize camps for children on our lawn, as I myself have been running a Montessori kindergarten in Ljubljana for 18 years.
  
  Our main focus at the moment is on organic farming, where we grow a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. However, with business in Ljubljana, we could really use some extra hands to help us with gardening tasks such as planting, composting, digging holes, grass cutting, removing weeds, fruit drying, and picking plants. Additionally, assistance with housecleaning, kitchen duties, and various renovation and construction tasks would be greatly appreciated.
  
  My eight-year-old son wants to build a bigger chicken coop for his chickens so they can run freely in the meadow without the risk of being eaten by a predator for lunch. He has an idea to set up his first business project and buy 20 more hens and sell the eggs in Ljubljana.
  
  We are very creative. Recycling and reuse are close to us. We create with wood, clay, fabric.
  
  We have a piano in the house. Both children love music, play piano and saxophone. My oldest daughter studies dance abroad and visits us occasionally.
  
  Our farm is isolated at an altitude of almost 500 meters above sea level, there is no public transport. We are surrounded by forest and have a wonderful view of the neighboring hills.
  
  We love spending time in nature, hiking and traveling around.
  
  We have a small apartment in Ljubljana, where you can stay from time to time.

  By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to learn about self-sustainable approaches, gardening techniques, construction skills, healthy food practices, and even the art of making raw food. We believe in sharing knowledge and creating a community that embraces a sustainable way of life.

  Aide

  - We need help with gardening (hoeing, planting, weeding, watering, mowing grass, trimming trees), caring for animals, helping in the forest. We want to build a small barn and stable for our animals. Other forms of help with new DIY projects around the farm, planting and drying fruits and vegetables, spices and medicinal plants.
  - House cleaning and kitchen duties.
  - Various DIY renovation and construction projects.

  Hébergement

  Regarding accommodation, you will have your own (or shared) room with a comfortable mattress, table and closet. However, feel free to enjoy the summer warmth by sleeping in a tent if that suits your preferences. The bathroom with toilet is directly next to the guest room. The possibility of using a small office next to the guest room and a larger office in the basement. We have a beautiful living room with an open gallery, a large kitchen and a terrace with a view of the surrounding hills.

  Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is 30 minutes away by train or 35 minutes by car. We have a small apartment in Ljubljana that can be used at a previously agreed upon time.

  The guest bedroom has a desk and a reliable internet connection for digital nomads. We have small office with printer. The neighborhood is quiet and great for concentration.
