Description

My name is Aoife (‘e-fa’) I’m 26 and from the west of Ireland.

My professional background is as a scientific researcher but I took some time away from this to travel and try some different possibilities...and have yet to go back! I suppose I am still trying to find the best fit for me.

I’m passionate about scuba diving & have been going regularly for around 6 years. I’d love to do some diving while I’m travelling, hopefully in waters warmer than the cold Atlantic I’m used to!

My other love in life is storytelling. I’m always writing & reading, but real life always surprises and delights me more than fiction. At home, I host a storytelling open mic night once a month where audience members can tell true stories on stage! I really enjoy meeting new people & hearing about their lives whilst on my travels. Sitting around a campfire sharing stories with a beer is my idea of heaven :)

I love the ocean, the outdoors, a bit of surfing. I've had some great workaway experiences on my travels....a vineyard in France picking grapes, working in a hostel in Switzerland, even living with some Nuns in a Greek monastery.

I work hard and will try anything once! Looking forward to continuing my adventures :)
