Hi! My name is Ellen and I'm from The Netherlands. A solo woman who'll always be looking for ways to improve and develop herself. As a theatre technician/carpenter I'm traveling through the Netherlands and every now and then I want to go abroad. I love to contribute a small part to something bigger. Outside of my work I'm interested in blacksmithing, self development, spirituality and outdoor living. I'm a practical thinker, I learn very quick and I don't mind lifting heavy things. The Marshall fridge in my kitchen was probably the coolest thing that I made. I'm creative and use practical solutions for challenges during work. You can ask me almost anything and I will do it with dedication. I can get along with kids very well, though I prefer to be more active as a worker around the house and in the fields when it's possible. I hope to learn a lot from the self sustaining lifestyle so that maybe one day I can join a community and contribute to a bigger picture.

I'm a doer and like to get my hands dirty. I play guitar occasionally and am interested in culture. Though I have basic skills of skinning some animals and preparate their skin, I would like to learn more about this! I like to spend time in silence every now and then, I think of myself as a social introvert. I like to have quality time with people and play games or have deep conversations. My allergy to cats isn't severe as long as I'm outside a lot, so no worries!
